World Cup 2022: The Moroccan national team faces Croatia and seeks third place in the tournament

The coach of the Moroccan national team, Walid Rekragui, believes that his team feels proud because it will play the seventh match, in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, although it is not the final match, which he had hoped for.

The Atlas Lions wrote a new page in the history of Arab and African football after Morocco became the first Arab and African team to reach the semi-finals in the World Cup, but its chances stopped on Wednesday after the defeat against the French team.

On Saturday, he will play the ranking match against Croatia, to determine the third-place finisher.

"We had hoped to play the final, but that did not happen," Regragui said.
